Molokini Island

The Island of Molokini is located between the islands of Maui and Kahoolawe, Hawaii. Its crescent shape forms a beautiful lagoon inside, which is home to about 250 species of fish, some of which can be found nowhere else on Earth. The lagoon provides protection from waves and powerful currents making this area one of the top ten diving and snorkeling destinations in the world. Every day many tourists come to enjoy of this breathtaking underwater sanctuary for marine life.

Molokini is divided into three separate areas that appeal to the beginner, intermediate, and expert divers - from 35 feet deep (ideal for beginning divers) to depths of 70 feet (for intermediates) and the back side of the crater whose depths of 350 feet call to the intrepid expert divers. Inside the crescent shape is a reef area with clear views to 150 feet.
